Frank Morey

Lowell, MA is the hometown of Jack Kerouac and Frank Morey and — in a “Karmic” sense — that fact proves that “birds of a feather fly together.” Kerouac used a typewriter — Morey uses a guitar and a harmonica. The end result is — and will remain — brilliance.

The Clay Faces

The Clay Faces were born in late 2006 following the break-up of trad/punk acoustic outfit jugopunch. whilst touring the uk folk circuit we wrote a bunch of original material, that never quite sat right within the jugopunch set. so after breaking-up, we went back to square one and formed the clay faces, with the intention of getting back to our roots, writing music which relates to the things we see around us here in the grim north of england ha har, yeah so cheery stuff like broken hearts and broken homes, love, sex, drink, drugs and all round general fun and frolics ha!..

Ciaran Murphy

Ciaran Murphy is a political singer songwriter based in Belfast who wrote the bulk of his material while a “dissident republican” prisoner between 2003 – 06. Last month an English music label pulled out of an agreed distribution deal with him due to unease at the political slant of his songs and the perceived sympathies of his small fan base. He describes himself as an ‘Irish separatist’ with libertarian socialist principles. Read the IndyMedia Ireland Review
